More on Atlantis?

My father tells me that there is indeed a submerged city off the coast of Famagusta in Cyprus. People living there were well aware of it. The wife of the late headmaster of the American Academy said she could see it from the air while travelling by plane. However, its location seems much closer to the present-day coast of Cyprus than Sarmast's Atlantis. Moreover the local lore has it that this city met its fate in an earthquake. Cyprus is definitely a seismically active zone.
