Thankyou David and your probing interviewer should also be commended. Your discussion of the way the term "sovereignty" has been understood is an important contribution - helpful to unravel the confusion in much sociological and political thinking in which it is often fused with "independence" and "autonomy" ... and then the term "sphere sovereignty" can easily be used to justify a functionalist social theory.
